This is an original PEWTER Pentagram Talisman, hand designed in clay and then handcasted (by me) which will (at your request) be personally monogrammed with up to three initials of your choice on the back of the Pentagram!

This Pewter Pentagram has been gently antiqued to make it appear very similar to how pewter looked in the early times when pewter contained lead which gave the metal the dark appearance associated with old pieces

The soft sheen of pewter has attracted the eye of man since the beginning of written history. It is not known when pewter was first made, but we know that bronze, which is similar, was made as early as 3200 BC. We assume that somewhere between the beginnings of the Bronze Age, and the Iron Age, two thousand years later, a maker of bronze changed his mixture of metals and discovered pewter. For centuries, pewter was a valued possession in Europe and later in America. Pewter ranked with gold and silver as a family treasure. Pewter keeps its original soft appearance through a very slow oxidizing process that darkens gently, but does not tarnish like silver. It takes on an antique look which is highly desirable, giving contrasts of dark and light areas. This brings out details of sculpting.

This Pewter Piece will be engraved with up to three letters free (or sent unengraved (your choice). They weigh one and a quarter oz, and are 1 1/4" wide x 1 1/4" length x 1/4" in depth. They fit nicely in a pocket and come in a velour or satin bag. They will also be monogrammed with three initials of your choice.
